ALROSA sells $7 mln diamonds at auction in Dubai

MOSCOW, Nov 1 (PRIME) -- Russian uncut diamond mining giant ALROSA sold about U.S. $7 million worth of diamonds with a weight of over 10.8 carats at an auction in Dubai, the company said in a statement on Friday.

The company sold 112 gem-quality diamonds with a total weight of 1,740 carats.

In total, 84 firms from all over the world took part in the auction, ALROSA said.

The company plans to hold the next auction in Dubai in December.
